For heaven's sake do not listen to the above stupid answers, the last one even recommends known rip-off artists to you. Unbelievable. It is never too late to start acting. The actor who starred in the movie Never Too Late was Paul Ford who was over 50 when he started. I became a film actor at 40. So if you go to the right school and if you get some experience so the world knows if you have any ability, yes, you can become an actor. It is very hard to make any money as an actor, there are just too many of them, but there is a way to test the waters to see if you can make it. That is where I come it, I mentor aspiring actors. Click on my name and read my profile, then write to me at my aol email and ask me anything you want to know about getting started.

It's never to old to start acting. I know a woman, that started acting at age 70 and gets more roles than younger actors.

Its never to late to start. Hell James Spader off of Boston Legal played a High School student in Pretty in Pink when he was 27!

Its really never too late to start anything. If you are a natural-born actor/ actress then I would suggest that you start looking for plays to audition for; they hardly ever need any prior experience. You just have to prove to them that you can fulfill your part in the play.

Acting doesn't have an age limit, you may not be young enough to play Hannah Montana's best friend, but you can still get credible acting jobs. Go out there and follow your dreams, you are your own limitation.
