I GOT A NE LINKSYS ROUTER BUT I DISCONNECT MY COMP FROM THE ROUTER AND IT WONT CONNECT ONCE I DISCONNECT THE ROUTER FROM THE COMPUTER IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN JUST US THE ROUTER WITH OUT HAVING 2 CONNECT MY NOTEBOOK TO THE ROUTER

if your notebook and router both have wireless capabilities, you can connect wirelessly.

YEs so you are going from wired to a wireless network. If you have a built in wireless card, you should have a way to turn it on usually it is the FN key held and F2 key tapped to turn it on. Also, there shoulf be a slide switch on the notebook as well to tunr on the wireless card. It will be marked by this symbol ((!)) something close to that or a radio towerr with parentheses.
