There's good and bad in both parties.
We need to vote for a decent person, not along party lines to save our great nation.
Most of us fall in the middle with slight leanings to the right or left. we're closer to being friends than we think! ;o)

No problem.
The left is often confused with Rosie and Michael, the Hollywood elite, brain dead hippies and the "anti-war at any cost" crowds - and that's really not a good thing.
Good ideas and a nice balance can be achieved when both parties work together and compromise - that usually puts the agenda somewhere near the middle.
Unfortunately, when they vote down English as our official language, advocate for Social Security for illegal immigrants and pretty much push for open borders, those policies are not in our best interests no matter how important they might think that potential voting block might be - and that's when there is no room for compromise - no middle ground - and the insults and name calling starts up from both sides.

Ask that to a congressman!
I have many friends that are liberal and im a conservative.
It would be nice for both sides to admit that some of the idea's and notions that they have are absurd and/or are not working or will not work. But they are so ignorant that they will never admit that. These people dont know how to swallow their pride.
I think that what our country needs now more than ever is bipartisanship, but unfortunately, that just wont happen in our system of government.
I wish it were that simple, just lean over the middle aisle and say, hey cant we just be friends?
Only in a perfect world!

You are kidding yourself. If you used to be a Democrat you have too much compassion to be a Conservative.

I agree, just vote Republican if you want a real chance of a competent govt. What have the Dems passed successfully in Congress since they have taken power....minimum wage.....criticizing the war.....and bush.....and eliminating the war on terror by pretending it's not there.
