WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!
He is on steroids, and is a complete asshole.
I wonder how many Hank Aaron could've hit if he was on the juice.

I hate to interrupt it to you, yet Barry Bonds isn't the terrific baseball participant of all time. If Barry had performed his entire occupation without using steroids and nevertheless held an identical stats, then you somewhat could have a controversy.

I'd have to say that Barry Bonds is only the greatest HR hitter and person holding the MLB record for walks.
Anyone disputing his skills are either blind, retarded or don't know anything about baseball.

Barry is the greatest of our ERA. I'm sure somewhere down the line people will say A-Rod is the greatest, and so forth and so forth. Until someone, anyone come forth with hard concrete evidence that will discredit Barry, and i'm not talking about people like Conseco, Palmero or Grimsley because their credibility is shot to hell anyways, but until someone with hardcore proof can prove Barry otherwise he is the greatest modern-day baseball player of our time.
Everyone says the HR record is baseball highest single achievement, and as long as Barry sits atop of the HR record he should be considered the greatest.
Many may argue otherwise, There's a lot of baseball players who have been busted using steroids and other illegal drugs, how come they haven't hit 757 homeruns?

people might say Hank Aaron because he was a more consistent hitter and he played in a time period when racism threatened his life.. Barry bonds might not be the greatest because a lot of people are going to say that he used steroids to help him get the HR record.. whether he did or not, that question will always taint his name as a baseball player..

I don't know whether Barry Bonds is the greatest, he just has the most home runs. (But, also he has some 500+ stolen bases, too.
The amazing thing about Hank Aaron, however, is that EVEN IF YOU DON'T INCLUDE HIS HOME RUNS, he STILL has over 3,000 hits. (Hank's hit total was 3,771). So, WITHOUT his home runs, Hank would still have had 3,016 hits. That's more than the entire hit total of Roberto Clemente, Rod Carew, or Wade Boggs!
Barry Bonds is on his way to 3,000 hits, but it wouldn't be until next season before he reaches that coveted mark.

Yes, because no one has ever affected a game more positively for his team. For example, a few years ago when he was at the top of his game he was intentionally walked with the bases loaded, because they new it was guaranteed he would hit a homerun if they pitched him anything near the strikezone. He has always had the best hand/eye coordination of pretty much any player. For the people who say "No, because he used steroids", the question being asked is not "Should he be considered the greatest". So, based off what he has done (regardless of steroids), I have to say YES, he is definitely the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time).

Sadaharu Oh has the world record for most career home runs. He hit 868 in his career.
I agree with Ian (first answerer). If Hank Aaron had the same advantage of steroids that Barry Bonds had, Bonds would be lucky to come close to the record.

The only reason Barry Bonds shouldnt be considered the greatest baseball player of all time is if he didnt use steroids.
And in my opinion, there is substantial evidence that he did cheat, thus his records and legacy shouldnt stand.
So it would have to go to some other greats such as Aaron or Ruth.

Babe Ruth, Ted Williams and Lou Gehrig were all better hitters. Willie Mays too.
Hitting is all Barry can do any more. He can barely run and throw. He should get a job as DH or get out of the sport.
