The Red Army has slave labor camps and is a large economic force by itself, and is more autonomous as time passes. Having press from all over the globe will be a challenge for the leaders civilian and military to contain dissidents. They can ill afford having the spotlight on their human rights violations They will have a magnifying glass loose in the form of western news agency's that will prove difficult to silence. . This will show the ugly side of China's economic power.

Will there be freedom of the press for foreign reporters. As late as this past week reporters were being intimidated in Beijing.
