2. The men who fell in battle at Gettysburg.
3. That government of the people, by the people and for the people should not perish from the earth.
4. That it was the very reason those men fought and died at Gettysburg.
BTW, your question shows me that you skipped even reading the address. You ought to know that idea for idea, this address is a duplicate of one delivered by the Greek General Pericles at the dedication of an Athenian burial ground, five hundred years before the birth of Christ. Lincoln was well read. You appear not to be.
