Would it be a major distraction?
It obviously would be predicting that America elects a fairly young President/First Lady ...unless medicine keeps going in favor of living longer and giving birth later in years.
Would you want to be that child..?.....He/She would grow up in front of the cameras like JFK Jr....not sure I would want to do that....you?

Well, it's not impossible. You only have to be 35 to become President, and if you marry someone younger, then sure, no big deal. It would be a major distraction, that's true, but it would also serve to distract the American people.

Having a baby in the White House would send a strong family message to the world. It wouldn't be such a bad thing.

My answer on your first question is ''I hope not''! I think it would be a major distraction because if the first lady were to have a baby, she would have to focus on the child more . that would leave her out of the loop performing the duties a first lady of the United States of America does, supporting our President and the int -rest in world affairs etc. I wouldn't want to be that child growing up under a microscope. absolutely not would I want to be that child starting out of the gate in ''that rat race '',also known as politics.

No. It's like an instant celebrity. All eyes on your for your whole life. No way! I love my privacy too much.

One royal I liked watching having kids in front of the world, however, was Princess Di. I was so rooting for her.

I am afraid the way morals are going in this country, that it will be an intern who will have the first baby.

My question would be, will the kid actually live in the White House (like that Lil Bush cartoon)?

I would rather doubt it. She would have to be quite young. There have only been several presidents that young, and never quite that young.

I personally don't think the President should be having children during office. He should be working hard. With that said, It doesn't really matter what the hell our President does today, it wont affect his meager role he plays in world affairs.

Excuse my dissent please.
