It sounds to be a male vocalist...at first I thought is was an old Jefferson Airplane song, but just dont know.

Count On Me...Jefferson Starship (70's). Thats the voice of Marty Balin who lead sings in the song. One of my favorites from the 70's. I have it in my collection.
