I would not. But there are many people who have expressed interest in going even if return chance was zero, including some experienced astronauts. In general, older people are more likely to go, having already lived a more full life than the younger generations.

maybe it is just me, but I wouldn't go ANY where if there was just a 18% chance of returning. I might not have much of a life but the life I do have I would like to keep.

Depends on how much money I got, and how violent the possible death was. But probably not. Unless there was something on Mars REALLY worth investigating. Like something that could possible cure cancer or end world hunger or the like.

for 6 months to a year, or longer.
