The cheaper stores claim that there are health rules, but shouldn't the same rules apply in higher-end stores?

I'm not only talking about Wal-Mart, but any of the low-end stores as well. BTW, I've seen some folks in the expensive stores that really didn't look that clean.

Because higher end stores can afford better personnel and better security. Bras are a high theft item, and also because you are paying less for a bra at Wal-Mart and things are returned more often, where as if you shop at say Victoria's Secret, they want it to fit right the first time. It helps customer satisfaction, keeps their ADS return amount low, and brings customers back.

Someone is lying to you. My neighborhood wal mart lets you try on bras, but of course not panties. You live in a high theft area? When I went to an inner city store once, I was surprised when I was told i had to get cold meds from the locked case behind the register. In my neighborhood, the same store has them on the shelf.

The Wal mart in alaska doesn't argue with me I try on what I want. Undies in most stores supply panty liners , I buy undies ar Wal- fart because they are cheaper and i only get packaged cotton undies. I get pretty undies in higher end stores. Sorry about the typos because i ndont have my glasses on. The Wal-Mart in alaska lets me try on bras because they know me well and a regular. And it helps that I am Bi****y and spend money!

i was pretty sure you could try on bras at walmart. perhaps yours has a local rule they have enacted. anyway, so buy it, take it home, try it on, and bring it back if you don't like it.

also i can't believe all of the answerers making huge and extremely offensive generalizations about the people who shop at walmart. we should all be so lucky to only shop at high-end places, but some of us aren't. that does not mean everyone who shops at walmart is filthy. or anyone. i'm sure, in fact, the proportions of who showers and who doesn't is about the same as you would find in ANY store.

Walmart lets you try on bras - maybe not underwear but bras. I've never been in a store that has said no to trying on bras..

I've seen the people who shop at Wal-Mart. There is no way I'd put my "mamm's" near anything at that store! The shoppers at Victoria's Secret, on the other hand, at least look like they give a sh*t about personal hygiene.
