Who would want to be Scarface? He put in more work, and risked more, to break the law and ruin lives than he would have put in by educating himself and getting a career. And, he could have climbed higher and to a better place with a real career.
And, after choosing a stupid way to climb to the top, he failed at that by breaking rule number one. He got high on his own supply, and let it all slip away...
(Talking about the movie character Scarface, not Capone.)
