Since you didn't say where in Nevada you wanted to go, I chose Las Vegas for you.

This is fairly simple, from Dallas take US 287 through Wichita Falls to Amarillo where you will take I-40 West to Kingman, AZ. Here you exit I-40 and take US 93 into Las Vegas.

Your trip will be 1,218 miles and your driving time will be 18 hours.

This is the quickest route to Las Vegas, NV. The shortest is 6 miles shorter and takes you through Lubbock and the driving time is one hour longer.

Drive safe and watch your money in Vegas.

I-20 west to I-10 if you want to get to southern Nevada.
Further north gets tricky because the straightest line takes you though the mountains so it can be much slower. The fastest northern route is probably driving diagonally from Dallas up to Amarillo, then up to Interstate through Albuquerque and on west.
