basically..2day & tomorrow are my most fertile days of the month, my boyfriend & i had sex today and yesterday (we are prepared for a baby if that were to happen we just want to wait a couple months cuz we are gettin married in 3 weeks), today he said he would pull out, well he did, but then he was like i'm going back in (he hadn't *** yet)..well this happened like 5 times. but everytime the tip of his penis was really wet when he went back inside of me. how effective is the pull out method really? i know we didn't do it right lol..we want a baby soon anyways but i was just wonderin? i went on this site online where you enter info & it said that a single act of unprotected sex on the day we did it was a 26% chance of pregnancy, but we pulled out..so i wasn't sure.

This question of pre-ejac causing pregnancy is one that is up for debate. Many people(medical professionals included) think the only way sperm can get into pre-ejac is if it was left in the urethra after a prior ejaculation. This means if the man urinated a couple of times between ejaculations, the urethra would be clear of sperm. The main reason "pulling out" fails is probably because the male partner waits too long to do it. I am NOT recommending pulling out as a form of birth control, but by all accounts, the less sperm you have near your eggs, the less chance you are pregnant.

Sweetie, even with the pull out method you could still become pregnant. Many people get pregnant off of pre-***. He can't feel it or know when it happens. The best protection is proper protection, condoms or birth control. But if you want a baby soon anyway.. it doesn't really matter.

So....you WANT a baby and you use the worse possible way of preventing it from happen. Looks like you will be the proud parents of a baby!!

Do you have a place to stay, steady jobs, baby projects, money for all the doctor pills? Watched all the "SupperNanny" shows on how to handle children?

Congratulations! You are ready to be parents!

well being a nurse there is what you call pre-ejaculatory semen so pulling out is a good method for a couple who plans on getting married soon and have a plan for a child in their future, but why rush it? Pre-ejaculatory semen is there and it also can get you pregnant. Good Luck.

if done properly it can be somewhat effective...

as long as no semen or sperm got in you, then you probably are not pregnant.

however, the reason it isnt 100% safe is because the male ejaculates a little bit unknowingly durring intercourse.

the wetness on his tip is probably just from you, but who knows. its a risk you are taking.

you should be using condoms, but hey, im not here to lecture.

LOL if you're really REALLY lucky you won't be pregnant.
The thing is it only takes one sperm to get you pregnant and there is sperm present in precum even if they guy doesn't ejaculate in you! Good luck but I wouldn't say your odds are very good of staying baby free!
