it started over some stuff between 50 and ja rule... then ja pulled Em and dre into it... ja rule ended up sayin some **** bout kim and eminem's daughter... then sh!t blew UP ... with a buncha junk in between

He got into it when 50 was going at it with him and Ja brought Em into the mix.
There is no east coast west coast rival ja is from NY (east coast) and Em is from detroit (midwest)

50 had a beef wit Ja...Em sided with 50...then on one of Ja Rule's songs he made a reference to Eminem's daughter..."Em, you claim your mother's a crackhead, and Kim is a known sl-ut, so whats Haile gonna be when she grows up"...also, at that time Eminem was involved in a beef with Benzino (this is what kinda ended The Source' reputation) Ja Rule, along with the rest of Murder Inc sided with Benzino.
Layla is right, there was no east/west feud....snoop dogg had nothin to do with this

simple cuz 50 cent and ja rules got into a fight about a gurl and 50 stabbed ja rule and em is 50 homie so em has his baq and since than ja always be disin on em but when em was going to fight him he pussed out and when ja was rappen he said fu%$ em and his shady lil kidd so yeah he madd and they b beefin
