Sometimes they rae but they are basic. They're the guys who in a fight do the ko without any actual fighting. They're very good though

Lets not drag James Naismith here; if he had it his way, basketball would just be a routine exercise and not a competitive sport. Just imagine how much boring would that be.
The Spurs are boring even though Manu and Parker are far from being boring, because its main star, Duncan, is an emotionless bastard who executes his play with machine like precision and with the least amount of physical contact.
The babyface assasin. Damn i love this guy.

Wow you think Tony Parker and Manu are boring?
Tony is the fastest guy out there. Who says so? His fellow NBA players in the All-Star poll done every year. Tony makes big, giant men look silly as he blows by them.
Manu? The man does circus or Harlem Globetrotter shots with incredible passes.
He scored 24 straight points this past season. Who topped that? LeBron with 25 straight points against Detroit this past season.
Manu is the only person in history of basketball to win a Euroleague title, and Olympic gold medal and an NBA championship.
There's a reason Hall of Famer Charles Barkley screams
"GiiiiiiiiNoooooBiiiiiiLiiiiiii" whenever he watches Manu.

They don't really blow people out. The only blow out of the Suns-Spurs series was Game 2, which the Suns won. They are boring because they like to play games that finish in the 70 point range. I read a really interesting article about the idea that the Spurs play the game the "way it was meant to be played". The concept has followed them since the irrational "dynasty" talk came up (a whole different conversation), and it implies that the league should encourage teams to play like them. The thing is, they clearly are not playing the game "as it was meant to be played". Think about it, if everyone who is anything more than a casual fan can tell they are boring, whereas teams like Dallas or Phoenix are exciting, then regardless of if they win or not, it is not playing the game as it was meant to be played. Games are inherently meant to be fun, and if Phoenix and Dallas play up to that standard, then they are playing the game as Naismith wanted it.
It's simple: why make a sport, meant to be entertaining, be unexciting to watch? The only Spurs games anyone watched last year were playoff games against the Suns. Sure, Denver, Utah, and Cleveland fans tuned in to see their teams lose, but ultimately, they are only a draw when they play teams who are really playing the game as it was meant to be played. I realize that the NBA is a business, but at it's core, basketball is being disgraced by the Spurs, and that is excluding the cheating allegations.

Each is entitled to his own opinion. Of course those Spurs fans here won't say their team is boring. To each his own.

I agree there dead boring. I hate it when people say that if you don't like the Spurs you don't know the fundamentals of basketball. Thats pure BS, the Spurs are just boring and the "few" fans they have are trying to defend them. I'm a Clippers fan, and they aren't to exciting, but it defintely beats watching the Spurs.
