Probably not, because I cant stand Nicholas cage...it would probably ruin the book for me. dont mean offense to any Nicholas cage fans out there....just saying.

Who cares what actors are present ...
When I READ the GREAT BOOKS ... and the Movie is being made .. I AVOID the movie like the plague ...
BECAUSE ...
for every time this has happened (from the Harry Potter Movies to Eragon to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and others)
I have been VERY DISAPPOINTED by the Movies due to the FACT that they are NEVER in any way approaching the richness and progression of the storyline of the book!

I would say about 1979 I read a series of novel, Flowers in the Attic , and written by V. C. Andrews.
They then made a movie out of these paperback novels.
I didn't like the show but sure did like the books.

And to your second question:
My least favourite actor/actress is, Woody Allen.
I find him rather boring and dull.

Oh yeah, I'd go see it. I'd even read the book again before actually going to see the movie itself, because I'd like to know if the movie is exactly how I imagined it. I'd also like to see if my fave actress (Saundra Bullock) could pull the role off. And it's always nice to see how the director butchers a four hundred page book to squeeze into two hours or less.

Yes, jsut so I can hopefully get a full picture of some of the scenes.
Used to be Will Farrell, but he kinda grew on me. I'd have to say Keanu Reeves, just because of how badly he's done on some of his character choices.

Yes, if i liked it enough I would still watch it.
Tom Cruise...what a waste of space. Ugh, he's such a freak, I can't believe he found someone gullible or stupid enough to buy into his crappola.
