No he is not. He was never really a dominant pitcher over the long haul. He has had a good career but is not HOF material. I hope he can catch on with a pennant contender and help them out at this stage of his career. I think he has 235 wins and that is just not enough. Jim Kaat has 281 I think and still has not made it in.

I don't think David Wells is a Hall of Famer. His numbers aren't that good. He was a so-so pitcher.

My opinion is no. He had excellent seasons with the Yankees and the Blue Jays, but too many inconsistent seasons, especially his early years in the majors. Also, a carear ERA (Earned run average), which is over 4.00 is too high for Hall of Fame standards.
