Kazaa is not a piracy site. They are merely a software company that provides peer-to-peer networking capabilities. What this means is that they only provide the software that allows you to link up with and browse the hard drives of other users of that software. What you choose to exchange with the other users then is not their responsibility.
Holding them accountable for any acts of piracy by those that use their software is like holding spray paint companies accountable for each and every act of graffiti performed.
