Are Iraqi shi'ites fighting US troops w/ Chinese-made weapons sold to Iran, is China laughing at us & making $

What can be done to stop the murder of us troops with Chinese weapons. China smiles with fists full of our dollars while Americans die from Chinese weapons, defective merchandise, and disgusting, poisonous food. What/who should we really be fighting?

Here's one thing: Boycott Chinese products and the Chinese Olympics.

All of the various factions are fighting with Chinese, Romanian, Yugoslavian, Russian, Polish and Chinese weapons. The basic AKM, the last design of the AK-47 in 7.62x39 caliber was manufactured by countries as diverse as Bulgaria and South Africa.

The Chinese laughter over Wal*Mart is sufficiently loud and long that any additional chuckles over weapon sales wouldn't make a noticeable difference.

Iran, though, is quite capable of making it's own weapons. It produces largely-indigenous fighter aircraft and it's newer generations of missles are only /based/ on Chinese technology, not built in China. Similarly, the self-forging mines punching through American Humvees are probably Iranian.

Who are you kidding. Those weapons were issued by the Iraqi Army. We had them and according to GAO have no idea what happened to 190,000 AK-47s and 60,000 Pistols, not to mention RPGs and several million rounds of artillery ammunition which they have been using to make IEDs.
