People like you are racist and stereotype because you are just jealous.

I have white skin but I don't like being called a "white person", it's just politically incorrect and racist, and we use sunscreen...

Why are BLACK people idiots?

Black people get sunburned too. Some white people tan, but don't burn. Some, with sunscreen get no tan nor burn, and there are some (like myself) who will get burnt even with sunscreen (which eventually turns into a tan, though not everybody is that fortunate).

So why do we go to the beach if we will get a sunburn? Well, the sand, the sun, the ocean, maybe hanging with friends? Some will go for the tan, but I go with my friends to have a good time.

Okay, this is funny, so I just have to answer it. Speaking as a very pasty white person, I still like the beach. I just have to reapply my SPF 45 sunscreen every two hours or I'm hot pink for a few days afterward.

I enjoy going to the beach or park or anywhere outdoors. It can be relaxing or fun. I am fair complected and have used sunblock 15 proof & higher. I still end up burning after about 30 minutes.

you are soo ignorant lmao...all of my best friends are black and THEY are the ones that HATE going to the beach because they get even darker and black ppl hate to be darker then what ther really are. im Colombian but im whiter than white people, and you go to the beach to swim, relax, walk, play, etc..and theres such things as sunblock and sunscreen, and not all white people get sunburn, you need to go out more often and see the beautiful color that "white girls" get...Gorgeous!!

Well I am Tan And I get sun burned no matter what skin color you are you can get burnt but to prevent that sun screen helps and face and chest need the most and apply every 45 minutes for best results.

I do not go to the beach, I do not lay in the sun either. If God had wanted me to have brown skin, he would have made me a Mexican, I'm white

It depends on what you are describing as white. Scandinavians burn quicker than some other white races. BTW, I was 16 before I learned black people COULD tan. LOL.

Yeah, you're right....at least in my case, I don't spend too much time out in the sun even with sunscreen because I blister, like, immediately. I'm definitely not a "beach-babe"

They CAN get sunburned, but equally so can black people. I think it just boils down to what type of skin you have, whether you get sunburned or not.

P.s. : I was interested to read the other replies, and noticed the thumbs-down behind mine.
Not that I care about that, but I AM interested to know why I got it?!

Oh, my.

Have you re-read your question?

Do you have any clue how offensive and nasty it sounds? Racism and ugly stereotyping runs both ways, my dear.

If I were to ask you that question couched in terms that were deliberately offensive to an African American person, I have no doubt that I would be run off this site in a hot minute.

What makes it any more acceptable for you to do it?

You should be ashamed of yourself.
