Yes, all the time so I can put my cart in the corral when I finish shopping. I guess I do run the chance of getting my car nicked. I honestly hadn't thought about that before.

Yes because people are too dang lazy to take their cart over to the corral so I run the least chance of it getting hit there.

You betcha...at my age I forget so easily so if the car is near a corral then it cuts down the amount of time I spend looking. Interesting question. When I was younger I had a terrible time finding my car also. It was not until my kids got older that they confessed that one would work the pedals and the other would steer and they would move my car. I thought I was losing my mind. lol Mmm

Whenever I can, I don't like to walk way across the lot to put my cart up and I can't stand leaving it out to hit another car.

I prefer it because then it's a closer walk to put the cart away after they've been put into your car.
