I haven't traveled to all of the states yet but one thing that I have discovered is that they are all beautiful and scenic in their own way. Some states have mountains, some have forests, some have rivers, some have great wildlife, but they all have something to offer.

I am being a biased but I would not say that California is the most beautiful state in the land if I did not mean it. I have been to Hawaii (which is absolutely gorgeous), Alaska (very picturesque), WA and Oregon (both look pretty much the same), the south, Florida, most places in the Midwest from Texas to Minnesota and the East coast. The only places that I haven't been is New England.
I would say California because there is such a diverse geographic landscape from beautiful rain forests, to deep, dry valleys, pristine mountains and beautiful beaches. It really is a great place to live/visit.

Portland Oregon is a beautiful State for a Scenic drive, also Vermont.

My personal favorites for scenic views:
Colorado, Minnesota and Oregon.

I would deffinately have to go with Maine. If you've never been North, don't underestimate it. . . There are so many beautiful scenes in Maine, Vermont, etc. It is very peaceful and gorgeus.

I went to Las Vegas this summer it had lots of lights and people but the Grand Canyon was unbelieveable. Soooo... Arizona gets my vote!

It really depends on what you think "Beautiful" is. A lot of people enjoy Alaska but if you aren't into forests, snow, etc. then you probably wont enjoy it as much.

Alaska or Kansas. LOL. Kidding on Kansas, its boring as hell out there. But Alaska is beautiful.
