The Bible because even though I already called myself a christian I did some really screwy things and once I started to read the Bible I cleaned up my life quite a bit and I am now an all together more happy person. It has stopped me from ruining my life.

The Harry Potter series. They taught me not be afraid of literature and learning. Once I started reading Harry Potter and in the time between books were released I read anything I could get my hands on. Before Harry Potter I was failing a few classes. Four years later and I'm entering my senior year with a 4.0 grade-point average and hopefully going straight to a 4-year university after I graduate. It taught me things within the book also, like that it is your choices that make you who you are, not your abilities.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
I teach me to stop from my routine and examine the nature and read the sign that God put in everything. It makes me values nature more. It such a beautiful story and it makes me brave enough to come out from my comfort zone to expand my ability.
