Throwing up so bad I couldn't get off the couch, the weight gain, back pain, not being able to sleep, heart burn, never being comfortable, people always touching me. I got so big my tummy hit the steering wheel and I had to stop driving. I really hated being pregnant
The best part was being able to eat as much as I wanted to and everyone did everything for me.

Well with my first pregnancy the worst part was the sheer exhaustion I felt the first 3 months! I really loved being pregnant after that, but the last week or 2 I was getting tired again...
This time around I am pregnant with twins, and it is a whole new ballgame! I am still waiting at 25 weeks to start feeling good, and my doctor is saying that I could be waiting for ever on that one! I guess this time the worst part(s) are:
1. Pelvic separation- where your pelvic bones actualy separate at the center cartelage
2. I am already as big as I was at 7 or 8 moths and I am only 25 weeks!
The best part though is holding your baby/babies for the first time and forgetting all the bad parts!

Having preeclampsia and gestational diabetes and being admitted to the hospital for preeclampsia. I've been admitted to the hospital for 2 weeks (and off and on for a week before that) and may be here for another 3-7 weeks. I don't even feel sick so that makes staying in the hospital even worse. I had planned on taking 12 weeks of maternity leave to spend at home with the baby after she is born, but now I won't be able to since this hospital stay and bed rest before is really cutting into my 12 weeks of FMLA.

For the first 17 weeks it was the throwing up, from week 30 it was the indigestion and now at week38 it is the waiting. But yes I am looking forward to the end result.

I was blessed with a beautiful pregnancy and so i would have to say water retention. It seems that there was water - excess!!!! - throughout all of my body. I think ideally though it is best to look at the best things of pregnancy to "program" the brain to that sort of outcome. Enough people speak of the horrible things that can and do happen and you will be bombarded by those. I refused to hear those "unuplifting" comments during my pregnancy and was greatly blessed as a result. It is not easy though because most people want to share their HORRIBLE moments. BEST OF LUCK!!

Same with me, as for the stretch marks. The worst thing about being pregnant for me at least was the morning sickness. I had it everyday for 5 months. GROSS! But yesssssssssss it will all be worth it... im due ANY day now.. :-D

The complete loss of control over my own body. That is what I don't like about pregnancy. Although I must say the end result is worth it!

Mine was the last few weeks I was so excited, and it felt like it was going to take FOREVER for my baby to come! Also my lack of sleep the last month or so from my belly being so big, and my son kicking and punching me all night!
