Yes I definetly agree because this has actually happened to me. In my 8th grade year I was in a school and I, or should I say our group, was the top dogs of the school. We made fun of anyone and everyone that dared to cross our path. Even ppl who were minding their own buisness. We'd find the tiniest flaw and make it hell for our victims. It can be from they're clothes/fashion to the way they acted, talked, walk. We'd make there lives a living hell. Life was good. At least for us becuz we didn't give a damn about anybodiez feelings that we hurt. And I liked to be the one that everybody looked up to. Everybody thought I was beautiful and adored me. But deep down inside I new that love was mistaken for fear. They all feared our crew.
The last day of school gets out and yet im ready for highschool so we can take that over and be on top again. When my mother tells me. "We're moving to a different state." I thought "Ok I won't have my crew with me but I'll still take over." That wasnt the case. I walked into high school thinking I could run anyone and everyone. Acting like I was better than everyone. I lost most of the friends I made thiz year. And gained some enemies that I dont even know. So now Im an outsider. I get picked on daily. I get NO RESPECT. I hate it.
In a way I'm happy this happened. At least I know how my victims felt. I kno how much it hurts. I know never to do anything like this ever again. But next year I'm going to a different school to get a fresh start. Thiz has changed my life. And I thank GOD that he showed me the right path. I am now a different person.
Thank you and God Bless

Native American wisdom tells us not to judge a man until we have walked a mile in his moccasins. The bible tells us not to notice the splinter in our brother's eye, when we have a log in our own. Thus, we see that most societies have condemned the sort of behavior you describe; however, wishing ill on those evildoers, would be equally bad. It would be best, to "turn the other cheek" or better yet, set an example of how we should all behave.
That being said, I would agree that it might make people a little more aware of the behavior if they were on the receiving end for a while.

Yes I do, I always stuck up for the underdog, I hate preppy people that think their so cool, as they get older we all find out what losers they are, when they get out in the real world people usually discover them for what they really are, anyone who can make fun of another person, fat , skinny, tall, short, rich, poor, pimples, dork, etc are not people that I would want to know, and in the end they are always found out for what they really are on the inside, ( not much ) by the time these so called cool people reach their thirty's most of them are very unhappy people, because when you get out in the grown up world they see you for what you really are, just think about the people that you go to school with, sit back and watch, they'll be the ones that are divorced, and married two or three times and have kids by two or three different fathers, it's the nerds of the world who excel later on in life, look at Bill Gates, I bet not one girl in High School ever judged him for his personality or brains. Those cools kids I see them every night on shows like Cold Case Files, everyone says, oh he/she was so well liked in school, school jock, or school princess, and then they commit some of the most heinous crimes, look at Scott Peterson, he thought that he was so smooth and cool, well you get my idea, so yes I do agree with you, bye !

Lol, are you ready for an opposing opinion? Well ready or not, her it comes. :)
You are suggesting an "eye for an eye" method. Which just leaves everyone eyeless ;) I disagree about the laughing. Laughing is the BEST thing you can do for YOURSELF. So WHY should we cut down on it? So who is to judge whether or not someone deserves it? YOU? Do you know EVERYTHING that person has done in their life and ever will do? No ;) So you can't say "WHOMG HE DOESN"T DESERVES IT" or the opposite. Also how do you know the ridiculer hasn't already been in the "shamed position"? And so you are claiming they should recieve that punishment, but you don't know if they already have, or ever will.
Honestly! You sound WORSE than them. What are you doing? Your doing EXACTLY what you say THEY ARE, but trying to give it a more nobel cause by saying they deserve it. You complain about them putting people down but YOU want to put THEM down. Honestly, to me, you sound like them except you don't have the power/ability to do it! Lol
I agree with one of the above poster's statements. Show them unlimited love :) Love will balance out or overwhelm the negativity. While applying more negativity to negativity will just make everything more negative.
lol, there goes my shot at being picked best answer :P

But you risk the possibility that they already know hatred and simply add yours to all the others that hate and thereby re-enforce that notion that hate and rage are desires, rather than the operations of the Judgment and push them closer to evil. They should know that they are doing likewise, the Judgment is better judging its self and its content to serve the Will for the common good.
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

so what your saying is, you believe in retribution?
well its always good to get a little pay back.
but i believe that reacting on the conflict will continue the that current conflict, creating a cycle of never ending war between you and the punished ones.
so no i don't agree with you.
there is prison for some things but not for calling others "names"

A good idea, sadly impossible. The people who hurt others lack empathy and they will never see the light. They are self involved and
will never understand the damage they inflict on others. Avoid them and be happy that you are a kind and sensitive person. Good Luck.

Well I don't have the poor will power that I become grossly over weight, so why would I have to be in their shoes? I would never tease a girl about her cramps. And generally, (I hope) I have enough sense as not to become like half the morons whom from we receive so much amusement.
But, don't worry were all on the receiving end some time or another, no one has impunity.

I totally agree with you. Nobody deserves punishment if he/she did not do anything wrong. Everybody must see the sides of people before they pick on someone. This is called KARMA.
But, I might not agree with you too... kinda harsh....

This would not work. What if someone is rude or mean to someone by accident?
Who is to say someone deserves punishment? It would be different for each person.
