There could be a few things.
You could be going through early menopause. A hormone blood check at the doctors will determine if that's the case.
You could be pregnant (but that would make you about 7 months along, and by that time you should know for sure!).
If you have too little body weight, or over exercise, it could be your body's attempt to keep as much as it can for itself by turning off the reproductive system.
Some tumors may effect hormone output.
Have you used injectable contraceptives? This may delay the return of your period for quite some time.
In any case, you should get checked up at the doctors, as it could be a problem that leads to infertility.

Why did you wait 7 months to ask this question? At your age, you should be having normal, regular cycles. Do you have any other symptoms? Excessive hair growth, spotting, anything? Regardless of the answer, I would suggest seeing your gyn doctor soon.

Well...I would need to know more. First, are you very thin or very heavy...that can cause your periods to stop. Also if you are a real "fitness nut" such as a marathon runner, your periods can stop. It probably is a metabolic imbalance and I would recommend you see your gynecologist.

it is most likely b/c you are underweight or maybe you workout/excercise too much. but, to be sure find out from a doctor.
