I do tend to befriend people easily, yet I have learned that some people put on a "front" (mask), and don't always show who they as they truly are inside...so, I let time tell if what I see is really who they are.
As the saying goes.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. But rather by what's inside. The best way to do that is by actually reading the book, which takes a little time and effort.

Easily? I don't know. I mean, some people, I just click with right away and I love them just as they are. But others? Oh, there are a ton of improvements they can make to appeal more to me. But I don't actually try to change them. That is not my job! And besides, I am not like that....

After a long hard road of trying to change them - It was too much work trying to re-create something that was there before they even knew you - and dealing with "who do you think you are , trying to change me?" it's very easy now - and usually people will let you know who and how they are after being in their presence five minutes - it's really okay because they probably will do the same with you - I really think it's simply a matter of "wanting" to be accepted.

Sure. I enjoy deversity and other's belief and opinions... variety is the spice of life.
I've only met a few arrogant people who I'd just as soon like to re-adjust but, basically, I think most are unique!

To be honest no, I do befriend people easily, I guess is my nature ;) - but I let myself observe them as much as I can as time goes by to know them a little more, I guess it has to do with being cautious. Another of life's lessons *sigh*

I try to be nice to people whether I accept them or not.. I am a little judgemental... I instantly size up people to determine whether I like them or not and I rarely change my mind.... So if I don't like you from the start I don't accept you....

I just know we're all imperfect.
Moraja is right, people will tell you over time who they are and what they are if you listen and pay attention.
The real joy is finding those kindred souls that connect with us and make us feel affirmed and good about ourselves....and at the same time, will tell us the truth.

For the most part -yes~I DO! However, occasionally I'll run across a strange person. For those who give me a weird vibe _ NO WAY~I TURN AND WALK AWAY.
