I believe America needs a good THIRD party, since both of our current parties seem to favor ILLEGAL immigration. What do you think? Is our country becoming the world's garbage can while traditional AMERICAN values are being trashed? Everyone's opinion is welcome here!

Please keep race, ethnicity and country of origin out of this debate. We are talking about AMERICAN LAW here. Americans first, Americans forever! Looking forward to hearing from you!

EDIT: "President" Cheney: I fight the war on terror every day. It is my job. How SHALLOW of you to think that I am not doing my fair share. Maybe you should be doing more yourself. This battle affects all of us!

You can't be a one-issue voter. You can't. The world's too complex.

And you can't consider only one culture worthy of perpetuation. You can't. The world's too complex.

I don't think that's a viable option - there is no anti-ILLEGAL party waiting in the wings, and major-party candidates who have tried to make something of the issue have gotten nowhere. The forces arrayed against you are vast, entrenched and powerful. Businesses want the cheap labor (and Republicans pander to them), race warriors want to reduce the 'white' majority, Mexico wants the income stream from remitances, Democrats want the huge voting block they'd win by making illegals into citizens... really, about the only traditional power structure on your side is Unions, and they're star has been fading for some time.

Sorry. All the anti-ILLEGALs have on thier side is 70% of America, and that just doesn't count for much in Washington politics.

I completely agree, I hate both the parties. They are not addressing any of the issues that matter to me in the way that I'd like them to be addressed. They just care about votes and disregard using common sense.

I want a party that:

Supports Abortion
Supports Gay Marriage
Closes off our southern completely and sticks armed fire permitted guards on it.
Supports a competitive market(multiple businesses in the market of providing) universal healthcare system.
Wouldn't have gone into Iraq, but wants to stay there and finish the god damn job we started.
Completely abolishes any form of affirmative action.
- But brings reconstruction and security programs into the worst parts of America.
Supports the melting pot ideology not the stupid tossed salad or patchwork ideology.
Continues dealing hard with terrorists and supporting our distressed allies around the world. ex.(Taiwan, Israel)

The two party system has been a terrible failure. About the only recourse we have is to establish a Parliamentary type of government or really start to support third Party candidates. The two major parties are bought and have betrayed the average American to and for the greed of Corporate America.

After a moment of study, I see your point. I would love a strong third party. I have also been made very skeptical by politics over my lifetime. 3rd parties usually only allow the worse candidate to become president due to the nature of things. the 2 top candidates will split the majority and the remaining candidate will win.

"True American values people" said the same things about the Irish coming to the US, the Italians, the Jews, the Germans, & everyother major ethnic groups that immigrated to America over the history of the country. America is a nation built on immigrants which is what has made it so successful (who do think is playing a major role in war on terror? immigrants and/or their sons & daughters). Have you thought about fighting for your country in the war on terror?
