WHY doesn't she want anyone to sign up? Does she have issues with the company itself...

The ONLY way to get a free card is to find a company that offers FREE (as in "paid by the company") memberships to it's employees - as part of their benefits package. My dad had a contract job with a bank that offered these ;););)

Costco is not a regular store like BestBuy. They are a bulk warehouse, even though they offer electronics (which is a perk for cardholders). We do not have Costco here but Sam's, they are same way. I personally use Sam's for buying groceries in bulk as Ican find ways to save money. Some clients of mine use them for their business needs since they can get more bang for their buck. If you don't like how they are set up,then don't worry about going back.

She gets one complimentary opportunity to use costco without a membership. What is her problem? Nothing is free. Some sort of payment is required for EVERYTHING.
