What historical figure do you most identify with? I don't mean a figure whose life you look to for inspiration, or that you merely admire, but rather someone who feels like a kindred spirit.

Someone whom if you had no idea who they were, but somehow met the person, you'd connect with them.

...and please don't say Jesus as that's an easy cop-out answer. Really think about it :]

Salvador Dali, b/c he's was just a awesome painter and artist. Of course I'm an artist but i just loved his work. I would be Attracted to him anyway b/c he was eccentric. I love eccentric people.

Eleanor Roosevelt. She wasn't a beauty but she had an inspiring mind. She would go trampsing all over the country for her man FDR when he was ill - and she forgave him all his affairs. Even after his death she admired his strong will and tenacity. Working at the United Nations she projected her desires for the good of the nation. I feel my life is like hers. I do what I can to make better for others and I feel me and ole Eleanor would sit down at tea and knock off a couple cups of Kentucky bourbon!

Anne of Cleve's (King Henry VIII fourth wife). She was forced to marry him because of political reasons and divorced him very quickly. He was never really attracter to her but she was smart enough to go along with it until he realized he wanted a divorce.

When I was born my parents arranged a marriage to me. I was never attracted to her. We were married and shortly after decided to get divorced.
