which do you prefer to stay in the comforts of your own home or go out and do stuff?

When I was young I was always out. I would be out at the clubs drinking and dancing all night, two nights or more a week. I had real wanderlust when I was younger...had to get out and mingle, you know. I went to New York just about every weekend, too.
I got married when I was 25, and I've been settled down, so to speak, ever since. I've been divorced 9 years but I still have settled down habits I learned from being married....I like to be home at night. Weekends are a time to catch up on my rest, you know, not burn myself out.
Going out to clubs and partying all the time is expensive..I really couldn't afford to do that now anyway. I did it when I was young because my expenses were much less in those days....
Some people told me, "oh, you should should have saved your money and bought a condo" or something like that...instead of going out and partying all the time...but I don't regret it. I had a good time...I had the best time I could have.
When I was married, I bought a house. The time came for that and I did it.
Now, I'm middle aged (48) and have lots of hobbies to do at home to keep me busy. I don't have to go out...did enough of that when I was younger.
Things I do are daytime things...going to tag sales, flea markets, going shopping, stuff like that. I'm not a night owl anymore.

Hmmmm...Hard to choose...When I was in college, I definitely would go stir-crazy if I had to sit inside too long. However, I think I'm beginning to settle down quite a bit. I can actually stay home for a day and not feel too much like I'm missing out on something...Yikes! I think I'm turning into a little homebody! lol :)

Homebody.
Both really. When I am in my normal schedule, I'd rather be at home rather than bar hoping.
But If I had the money I'd be traveling the world.

I prefer to go out and do stuff, but I have a family which means I have learned to like being a home body.

I prefer to stay home. I only go out for things I need, every morning to work out in the pool, and for social events. Other than that, I prefer my home. Who doesn't though? If your house is customized (visually or otherwise) to your specifications, why would you want to go somewhere where everything isn't?

when i lost my business i became a homebody, unless i go to play music, i stay home.

Both,it's so nice to stay home & do whatever but it's also nice to hang out at the lake(tahoe) or go to things happening in the city , the best of both worlds! : )
