More ogliarchy, since voicing an opinion contrary to mainstream/ masses gets you labeled a terrorist, heathen, or unamerican. The mainstream masses are told what to believe and they do. All corporate vechiles for domination. We are no longer valued as citizens but as consumers. I'm with you, America is falling from greatness.

America is not turning communist, Socialist would be a better description. America is certainly not tapping all phones lines. There are certain protocols the government should follow and if they can capture idiot terrorists then God Bless them. Communist countries had no civil rights period. They took you out behind the barn and shot you for talking. In America we still can have civil disobedience but no one has the right to ruin other peoples day to day lives with their protests. Almost 24% of Americans (and others who live here) are employeed by the local, state and federal governments. 24% is quite a voting block and they only want more government. And I wonder what the percentage is for people here that are on entitlements. That is where the government sends you a check every month, - social security, welfare, EIC, food stamps, etrc. Even the farmer that gets a check to make sure he doesn't grow the wrong crops. Communist countries don't send out checks very often.

It's trying, with the help of a populace becoming more educated re issues & those who realize that WE are all in this together. It's harder to lie with all the fact-checking available. Repubs are sheep, Dems spineless & with some people, you can't fix stupid. Commies? No way! Someday we'll actually attain a progressive (not regressive) agenda. We are doomed to repeat history if we don't learn from it.

I agree with your sentiment, but communist if far from the right word. The meaning of communist is highly distorted because of its association with the repressive Russian regime. Russia wasn't truly communist. I would say America is becoming fascist.

Don't ever compare . America will install the microphone only to the suspected terrorist activity family. Stalin had it in every family's house. He was down straight paranoid.
If you are not involved in any terrorist activity you have nothing to worry about.
Don't ever compare.

If we did not have checks and balances, and term limitations, and an incredible Constitution, the threat of us becoming a communist country would be far more real. But it never hurts to stay vigilant!

That's taking it a little to far don't you think.I look at it this way if you are not doing anything wrong then why should you worry about who they are recording or listening to or reading your e-mails.

Do you honestly believe that you have anything to say that would justify the amount of time & money it would take to monitor your phone calls?
