Well, philosophy comes from two root words, for "love" and "wisdom", so it's the "love of wisdom". There's no end point available or necessary - just as there's no end point to having a "love of Music" or even a predilection to watching wrestling videos.
If the study of philosophy is gratifying, that's sufficient. That it lays the groundwork for all practical science and art is just a bonus.

No, there is no end point, because when you get to the end, there's another point. And as long as humans can think, there will be theories about this and that, and if and when, and what, and how, why and not.

It appears to me that it is an endless point for philosophy because indeed we study the nature of reality, knowledge, ethics and existence by means of rational inquiry. On your 2nd question, not at all, it is a never ending story of how and why by the inquisitive mind.

The first (western) philospher summed up his life's work by saying that the unexamined life is not worth living. I would say that the the end point of philosophy is to examine life, and that there is no limit to the methods of examinination and the things to be learned.

We are infinate in the knowedge he gave us as we are ignorant to see it all. There is always a struggle in this sense and we will always have that struggle for this sense.

They didn' t have alot of what even something as they said rediculious as that was at that time, and told us all not to play with witch craft and fantacy.

And yet they are using everything we create and they damn the computer and all that its goodness as they always will do such things everytime you lay 1 brick the ignorant and stubburn will destroy 200 of them on you.. But we will keep laying and one day make a machine to lay them so fast they can't even destroy enough of them to stop the wall from growing.

And that is true creation of Islam
