I need to print from USB a MS Word file which was encoded using MSWord 2007 version but cnnot open with in my desktop but asking to be opended with Winzip. What do I do?

if the file ends in .doc then it is in fact a word document. if it ends in .zip then it was packed up to make it smaller. im guessing that it ends in .zip because it is prompting you to run winzip. if that is the case run it and see if your file is inside, then extract it to your hard drive.

Try right-clicking it and choosing "Extract All..." It should guide you through the rest of the process.

The last time I checked, WinZip was available with a free trial, so if you absolutely must use WinZip to open it, consider the trial option. Of course, make sure you read the license agreement in case I've left out important information.

As you have found out the stressful way, your report institutions are fubar, ahem, tousled. the common thank you to make certain is to good-click a zipper report, click 'Open With..' and 'choose for application', then make beneficial that the 'constantly use the chosen application to open this form of report' checkbox is checked, then click ok. Winzip will then be linked with all records having a .zip extension. sturdy luck.
