es can be a bit rediculous? I mean come on I found these obviously used brown w/ white stripe platform shoes made by L.e.i which isn't expensive to begin with and they marked $35 dollars on the bottom so there they lost a sale. Another thing is their Corduroys which were J crew, were $12.99 each. I mean come on, just because its a brand name dosn't mean you should charge that much for something used and better yet, the stuff was donated so come on who the hell do they think they are? Also the employees are a bit rude and when there is no tag and i bring it to them, I'm like "can you tell me how much this is" and their like i dont know, hmmm.... how about $6.99 it just drives me nuts anyone agree?

Yes it is crazy, I have found the cost does not fit the item or the clientele. I know the employees go through the items and keep the "best" for themselves or sell them in personal yard sales. Unfortunately I used to shop there thinking I was helping the less fortunate but I can not find how or where my local goodwill is helping the less fortunate. Beware of this and look around I have found two other thrift stores in my county that does help with electric bills/rent/food as well as other items with proof of a real need.

I don't know where you shop, but the Goodwills at which I used to shop (and where I'll be shopping again after my husband and I return to Columbus, OH on Sunday) had very few things over $5. Last summer I got a Gap Tshirt and and Old Navy T for $.50 each. However, I think they are cheap because they have a quick turnover and because between the Salvation Armys in the area and other local thrifts, they do so for competition. The Goodwills were (are) convenient in location and the local owned thrift stores didn't have fitting rooms, so I didn't shop there much.

On the other hand, if you have a problem with the store and/or the employees, talk to the manager.
