I would start by getting any cobwebs from in the corners.. Wipe down the bathroom sinks, toilets, counters and tub.. Clean the mirrors and lastly the floors... If you have furniture still in the house you may want to give it a quick dust.. I love any kind of wipes product for this.. Or a simple microfiber cloth... Tonight you can sprinkle baking soda on the carpets and vacuum it the following morning.... It will eliminate any stray odors and pick up any loose dirt in the carpet... Put away anything that doesn't belong in the room and control any clutter... Good luck

First of all you are now behind schedule. You should have the lawn mowed and a good landscaping done. They should ride up to the front of the house and really want to come in to see the inside of the house.

Get rid of all the clutter, what Jr and other children leave around on the floor should neatly put away. The bath and kitchens should be extremely cleaned and clear of all things not necessary to be shown.

Those things you think are cute and pretty like oven gloves should be put away. Flooring should be clean and vacuumed, steam cleaned if possible.

Walls should be wiped down and all marks removed.

Beds should be made with matching covering that go with the walls.

Do anything else you might think would be helpful in marketing your home properly.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

i love to watch the shows on how to sell your house.
tip# 1- remove all personal items. like pictures, little dust-ables, you want the buyer to imagine there stuff in your house. if you have your stuff every where, the buyer only sees your stuff and cant see imagin stuff in the house.
#2- let as must light in the house as possible, especially if the place is small.
#3- bake something right before they come over, so your house will have a welcoming feel to it.
#4 keep it simple. just make sure its clean. not cluttered. you could have someone (maybe a friend or someone that does not come over to often) come over and give your place a once over. to point out anything you may have missed. have someone come over with fresh eyes. they may see something you miss because you look at it everyday.
hopes this helps, good luck

clean, maybe some flowers. You want the people to want to live there. Think of things you like to see in a liveable home. Things clean, flowers, maybe some fruit in a bowl on teh counter things like that. Fresh smell. Good Luck

Just make it look like you did when you first had your folks over. You wanted to show them how nice a home you had.
