You don't have to have a certain amount of juice or milk. Just be sure you are getting enough calcium and vitamins. As for the water, I was told by my midwife to have around 80oz of water a day... I know it sounds like a lot, but you do need more when you are pregnant. I feel so much better when I drink a ton of water. I went and bought a little water jug at walmart for $1.49. I just carry it with me every where I go. Remember, if you feel thirsty, you are already dehydrated. So don't even let yourself get thirsty. Just sip all day long.... It gets easier once you get used to it... Good Luck!
Oh, just another benefit, it can help keep your skin hydrated, which can help prevent stretch marks! :)

I agree. One doesn't "need" milk during pregnancy. I'm eight months pregnant and haven't had a sip of milk in two years. I do drink soy milk, though. I drink a cup or two of milk, and a cup or two of juice a day. I'm not sure of how many cups of water, though. I have some 16 oz. cups that I refill several times a day.
My baby is healthy. That's all that matters.

you have taught her that by using throwing a huge adequate tantrum, she'll get what she needs. do away with your bottles so which you will no longer cave returned. proceed to furnish her milk in her cup fairly some the time, and water or juice each now and then to make certain she would not get dehydrated. finally she will cave. If she takes the sippy cup many of the time, then she will do it. She purely doens't desire to, and in all probability knows which you will fall down. I accept as true with the cups with the delicate tips however, some little ones purely hate the way the complicated plastic feels.

8 glasses of 8-oz waters are adequate. In addition to any other liquids. Also electrolytes are important, but enhanced water is really just a gimic to get you to spend your hard earned cash. Drink a lot of water because it helps produce your milk. It is not necessary to drink milk. Just get alot of calcium. You can get Vitamin c in other ways than juice. Fruit is good, too.

You need atleast 2 cups of milk and a cup of juice. The juice you don't have to drink everyday though. with the water you need 64 ounces or more of water everyday and if it is hot and or humid outside you will want more water than anything else that you drink.

It is necessary to get enough calcium while pregnant, so get it by whatever way you like best. Juice fortified with calcium is a good choice because you also get Vitamin C. Yogurt is a good choice too. Try to drink about 8 glasses of water a day at least.

I've never heard any milk or juice rules.
But - The rule of thumbs for total water and liquid intake is to drink enough so that your pee is clear. Really, it's that simple, you don't need to measure oz, or cups, or try to adjust for how hot it is outside, just try to keep it clear or near-clear...if it's dark yellow you know you're dehydrated and need to drink more.
