I was curious if it hit New York City or Los Angeles, how far in will it go? Or if there's a website where I can calcuate the results? Thanks

The peculiar thing about tsunami is that its wavelength is many times greater than its amplitude. In deep sea, it goes unnoticed. If you are in a boat, it will be passing underneath and you may not be knowing it.It will emerge along the coast only. That means its height will be comparatively less.It cannot go beyond 100 meters. Two miles' height is impossible. If that happens ,that is the end of the world.

Even if a tsunami kept it's two mile height across land, it would stop short of the Rocky Mountains. Two miles is only 10,560 feet, and some peaks have elevations of over 14,000 feet.

Depends on what the velocity is at time of impact, what coast it hits, etc.

It'll go all the way.
One need a model to calculate how far in it could go.
