John Pilger talk. Good stuff. Answers are always welcome but it be nice if a couple of you bothered to read or watch the talk. It's all about journalism and liberalism... you know, how they are both characterized by a dangerous delusion that they are worth a dam.

Funny you should ask this question. I watched John Pilger's speech on Democracy Now only this afternoon. He was amazing. He really tells it like it is. One of my favorite lines from his speech re liberalism was when he compared liberalism and true democracy. "Liberalism and true democracy are not the same,"he said, "Liberalism began as a preserve of the elite in the 19th century, and true democracy is never handed down by elites. It is always fought for and struggled for." As he pointed out the Press as we know it today is nothing but a mockery filled with propaganda and lies. I had a friend here at YA -- he is gone now -- who told me that Pilger was one of his great heroes and after hearing him talk today, I can see why. Other journalists who share my bias are among others, Amy Goodman, of course, Alexander Cockburn, Jonathan Cook, Molly Ivins (deceased), Jeremy Scahill, Noam Chomsky, sometimes, Robert Scheer and Justin Raimondo. There are others whom I admire. Perhaps if you e-mail me via my link here, we can compare notes.

Your query and feedback are very intriguing. I have speak to many men and women who suppose CNN's insurance plan of the campaigns have be slanted closer to and favoring Obama. During the ninety's I felt the cable information (CNN, MSNBC, and so forth) had a conservative slant. Not as radical as Rush Limbaugh however nonetheless conservative. MSNBC remains to be conservative however CNN has turn out to be extra liberal for the reason that 2000. I wager its in our factor of view. Personally I aid Clinton.
