Hi..
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder means..Two people could be looking at the same person..One could see a beautiful person standing in front of them, yet, the other could see a very homely person..It's still the same person!
I try to find beauty or something very special in everyone I meet..Because everyone does have something special..It doesn't always have to be physical..It can be an inner beauty as well !

It has nothing to do with the way a person sees them self, it is about the way that others see you. You could think you look like crap on a bad day and someone looking at you might see you as beautiful. You could also think you look great on a good day and someone looking at you might see you as looking crappy.....Everyone has different tastes and perspectives.....what is beautiful to one is not to all.....the beholder is the person looking at you.....and in their eyes you may be beautiful......and forget that comment about whoever said that is ugly......everyone is beautiful to someone, and the people that are most beautiful are the ones who can see a person for who they are and not what they look like.

It simply means that one person may see an ugly picture in their eye when they look at something, and the other person sees nothing but beauty when looking at the same object.

It depends on what you are looking for as to what you find.
If I really want to go fishing and need some big juicy worms....and search and search....then dig down in a pile of dirt.......and right there are a couple of BEAUTIFUL worms...........thats IT! Its all in what you look for!
I always laugh when I watch a nature show and the guy is SO excitied finding some snake or something.....when he says "Oh, what a BEAUTY she is.....look at those markings"....and he goes on and on. I HATE snakes! and I am thinking...how in the WORLD can he see beauty in that snake!

for me it's looking into the person beyond what the naked eye can see.it's about seeing all of the inner beauty within someone.if we only look at somebody & only see the skin deep physical aspect of their personality then we have a shallow view of what beauty is all about.most do tend to only see the obvious but its looking way too deep that matters.

That means beauty is how you see it. because people should see them self as beautiful. and not ugly even if someone else says so.

Some people can see beyond the physical appearance of others. They see the soul.

to me it means that if you think you're beautiful, other people will too because you seem confident. But if you think you're ugly, you'll come off as not very self-confident to others.
