Well then that leaves me to cowboy up and say Djokovic on all surfaces in 4 sets only 3 on clay. He is too good. Has all the weapons, speed, youth and can relax. Plus he plays with passion. Roddick is slightly spoiled temperamental and gives up easily.

The two players you mention have vastly different playing styles, but I would have to go the other direction when it comes to and A-Rod v. Djokovic match.
Like the other answerer, I will give some predictions about a match on the three surfaces.
On Hard Courts:
Djokovic in 5 sets
Andy's best surface is definitely the hard court, but I think he's been a bit slow this year. It's easier to see the outcome when you look at their playing styles. Djokovic often takes his strokes early and clean to put his opponents off guard. That, combined with some nice athleticism, easily makes him a fast, hard court player. True, Andy might have that 135 mph serve which gets him 23 aces or so, but in terms groundstrokes he's outmatched slightly: hard courts are relatively fast, and oftentimes he has to backpedal like crazy to get to his power forehand. When this happens, Andy is at a disadvantage at side-to side play and will get worn down easily.
Clay:
Djokovic in Four Sets
Andy will take the first set with his serve and forehand; he's a good starter. As the match progresses, however, Djokovic's mental edge will show through. Andy will try to end points early; that's his style. It'll cost him though, since clay matches are tiresome at times. Djokovic will wear Andy down, clinching the second, third, and fourth sets.
On Grass:
Andy in five sets
Andy's good start and massive serve will help him at this surface. Grass is notorious for being slippery, so Djokovic will lose some agility. While Djokovic will make some nice returns, Andy does have a huge forehand that's very useful. If he can get his volleying in shape, he'll be able to pull the match in his favor.

On every court except clay you have to give the edge to Roddick. He has way more experiece. Djokovic has crazy talent, but he doesn't have the experience. If you look he can't beat Nadal or Federer and Roddick is next in that lineup. I'm really looking foreward to their match at the Roger's Cup. It'll be the best match since Wimbledon: Nadal vs. Federer.

The way Djokovic is playing in Montreal, he would even knock
Federer....
He has already knocked Roddick and Nadal...Just now, he
already broke Federer's 1st game of the Montreal final.....
So if these 2 play again, I think Djokovic will beat Roddick in
straight sets on any surface.

In a 5 set match:
Hard court- Roddick in 4 sets.
His experience and serve will lead him to victory.
Clay court- Djokovic in 3 sets.
Roddick's lack of patience and speed will really hurt him.
Grass court- Roddick in 3
Djokovic lacks experience on grass.
Thanks for question and God Bless...

On what surface?
Hard- Roddick in 3
His power would overtake Djokovic quickly.
Clay- Djokovic in 4 sets
Clay is Roddick's weakness, he is still to impatient and Djokovic excels on it.
Grass- Roddick in 3
His power again would overtake Djokovic

Djokovic. Yesterday, playing against Nalbandian, during the most part of the first set, Djokovic had 100%!!! points won when his first serve was successful. He played perfectly.
