The movements of the earths plates, is due to large convection cells within the earths core. hot material rises and then falls as it cools higher up near the crust creating circular currents which pull and push on the plates. The energy that drives this is from radioactive decay within the earths core and heat left over from the formation of the planet.

I imagine you had a list that you forgot to include, so I will provide my own list. A) Plate Tectonics due to radioactive decay of certain isotopes providing heat to circulate mantle material. B) Slab Pull due to increased density from cooling of oceanic crust. C) Plate movement doesn't happen, just read the Bible for the answer.
The answer C) is not a theory (or a hypothesis), it is a religious belief.
