I have a 04 stratus with an after market Viper Alarm. I'm not the original owner of the vehicle so I don't know the commands on the remote. I used to be able to hold down the aux key and it would crack my windows and if I kept holding it down the windows would roll all the way down, did this in order to ventilate the car on hot days. Well since this weekend I have been unable to roll any of the windows down using the controls on the drivers door and the remote feature also stopped working. I know the window work because the passengers can roll their windows down with their controls. So is it the pad on my door that stopped working or is it something on my alarm? I had my nephews over and they may have played with my remote.

Sorry for the long post, thanks for the help!!

You may have had a wire go bad. They have a tendency to break where the wires get flexed along the door hinge.

Try resetting the remote by taking the battery out for a minute or two then reinserting them. Usualy works for me when my remote goes out of wack.
