Sadaharu Oh formerly of the Yomiuri Giants of the Japanese Central League has the world record of 868 home runs. He has more homers than Barry Bonds and Hank Aaron. (Bonds 756 and Aaron 755) So, Oh is the king.

1.) Barry Bonds has never failed a drug test - suspicion does not equal guilt (in reality)
2.) Barry Bonds has more home runs than Henry Aaron and has done it against pitchers that are suspected to be on steroids. (if suspicion is indeed enough, then Barry doing roids give him an advantage that is nicely canceled out by the disadvantage of pitchers using steroids.
3.) People think Barry Bonds is a jerk and have high respect for Henry Aaron. This is an opinion, the homerun record is an actual FACT.
Barry Bonds is the all time home run king. It doesn't matter how much you may like or dislike that fact - opinion doesn't change the reality of the situation.
Yes, I like when the 'good guy' (subjective) wins. On the other hand, I'm deluding myself to think that simply ignoring public record actually produces a victory so to speak.
In the minds of the masses, it might, but I'd rather work with facts THEN make conclusions.
If you hated the color blue, would the sky change color?
If you loved the color orange, would that be the color the sky changed to?

I'm not sure statistics are really up for opinion, but based on fact. All I know is Hank Aaron was a king Pre-Steroid Era.

Let's leave juicing aside for a moment.
Take away all of Aaron's homeruns, he still has 3000 career hits.
When did Bond's last run out a ground ball, '93?
Barry can hit a thousand, and not be able to carry the Hammer's jockstrap.
My $0.02, anyways.

Hammerin Hank Aaron. Always. He's a class act, always has been. Bonds is what we refer to as an idiot. Even if he did no steroids, he's classless.
