How would that work?

Before you get too worked up,i asked this because of someone saying unions are the reason jobs are going overseas.

Too long a response time, but a better question is when are we going to ship Congress overseas?

Not /all/ jobs can be effectively offshored.

However, some law-enforcement work could be, at least, in theory. For instance, dispatchers, communications specialists, forensics labs, and the like. Actual aplication of nightsticks to miscreants, however, cannot currently be done by law enforcement personel not physically present at the scene.

Perhaps advances in remote-controlled robotics could eventually allow it.


Unions are a reason that America *ahem* ...creates so many jobs in developing countries... but, they're not the /only/ reason.
