For me, I would go with Clint Eastwood. It seems that more of his movies actually make sense. Some of Spoelberg's films are a little off.

Clint, easily. To me, his films--in particular Unforgiven, Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby--have a whole lot more soul than Spielberg's. Clint brings out emotions on screen unlike anyone. It's as if he's the only of one of us who's touched the bottom of all of them. Spielberg comes closest to Clint with Schindler's List.

listen thats like comparing apples to oranges, clint does excellent work , yet very 1 dimensional! steven basically saved the movie industry as a wonderkind! remember Jaws! look at spielbergs credits its amazing and that takes Nothing away from Clint! its that you can't compare the 2...good question and goodluck

Spielberg has made some classics like jaws. ET. and i only know Eastwood as an actor so i cant compare the two.
