Hmm, good one.
I suppose Bat out of Hell by Meatloaf.
Well, I am an ex-biker & old hippy.
I now teach water skiiing, but am a qualified power engineer.
Hence "Bob the Boat"
I play Meatloaf to students, to get them in a certain frame of mind, which works.
However Mikes Tubular Bells hits my spot.
There again, to sum me up, a dose of little known Buz & Sam Collins doing canal songs gets me in a good lively mood.
I shall soon go & practice some Beethoven, as I have to play it next week.
So perhaps none or all of my musical tastes define me.
Why should they ?

The song makes a point that I strongly agree with
The Darkest Nights - As I Lay Dying
"These thoughts will carry me through the darkest nights"
This line keeps me upbeat as to me it says think of postive things to help you cheer up when your down

god thats hard. there are loads but at this minute probably When You're Young by The Jam. but loads of other jam songs are equally as important as are a few erasure songs and even klf songs. oh and depeche mode and frankie goes to hollywood and the clash and... the list goes on, and thats just artists i can think of who have songs...

Who Knew- Pink (don't like her but like that song) because my best friend died of drug problems
Hey There Delilah- PLain WHite T's- because of my boyfriend (and thats one of my favorite songs)
and Here I Stand by Madina Lake because my first boyfriend did break my heart he dumped me the day my best friend died because he was cheating on me and we were going out for a whole year.
