Unless Apple claims that the iPod Nano is waterproof.....it probably won't be covered by the warranty.

But I'd try anyway. If that doesn't work.....see how much it will cost to have it fixed. If it costs more than it's worth then there's one last thing you can do to try and make it work before buying a new one.......

This may sound crazy.....drop it in a container of Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol.....unlike water, this will evaporate completely and take any condensation left from the water along with it......let it sit for a few days and see if it works.

Once again.....THIS IS A LAST DITCH EFFORT.....try this last desperate attempt only after you've considered the iPod is now garbage.....it just might work......this worked for me with a cell phone I accidently dropped in water once.

i bought my nano off ebay $45, and the freakin thing sucked it kept locking, i took it in to the apple store and they told me to set up a meeting with the genius's, you have to make an appointment, but i didnt tell them where i bought it but they took a look at it and asked me if it was less than a year old and i said yes, and then they told me they where going to replace it, dont tell them you dropped it in water, just tell them what it's been doing like fading screen, etc, etc i only had to pay 32 bucks.. so i got a new pod for less than 100 bucks!

OMG! I am so sorry, I love my iPod Nano! Okay, calm down and just take it to the store and they should give you a new one no questions asked. Hopefully you got insurance on it.

well since it has water damage, i dont think apple can fix it. that goes for all electronics like cameras & phones. so i guess you're gonna have to get a new iPod but try & take it to the apple store to see if they can do anything for you...

good luck! :)

go back to where you bought it and see if they can do anything on it. if you bought the warranty then you're good. but if not then i guess your gunna have to buy a new one. =/. good luck.
