My hubby and I are trying to have a baby. I'm 25, very heatlthy and have always been very regular. I stopped taking BCP a month ago. My last period was 07/10/07. I've been checking my cervical mucus and I think I ovulated on Saturday 08/04 and we had sex. According to my cycle before I stopped bcpills I should have started yesterday 08/07, but I didn't. I took a test, negative. Could I be pregnant?

After you ovulate your period comes anywhere from 12-16 days later, so if you believe you ovulated on Aug. 4, then you should expect your next period anywhere from Aug. 16-20. The first few cycle off birth control you often ovulate a little later than you did before going on birth control, so that makes your cycles a little bit longer. It is perfectly normal.
