When I was young i had been sent to live with my granny for 12 months at age 4 , so I developed a somewhat fragile personality !. What became so comforting was the ,care, love,experience and wisdom of elderly people and now because the shoe is on the other foot, 54 years on, I desperately try to have a similar influence on young people ,especially those I see, that may have similarities to the frailties I felt !
